Photo Flashback: August 2010-2011

In August 2010 I shaved my head!  It's something I had always wanted to do and I LOVED it!  It's definitely the most stress free haircut I've ever had.  And with this heat...I'm really really missing it!

A Sketch of Ted Bundy I did in 2010.  I almost never sketch anymore and I think this is actually the last piece I did.  I need to start it up again and build myself up to what I was capable of in High School.  I don't know why I stopped, but it makes me sad that I did.  Maybe I'll apply myself and start a new sketch feature?

I went a little ring-happy last August and made a whole bunch of cute rings.  I don't wear jewelry very often, but I do wear these every now and then.
If you missed all the excitement of Photo Flashback in July, you can see it here!

  1. Wow, you looked absolutely stunning with your head shaved. You need to have a very strong face to pull it off.

  4. I cute my hair really short back in college. I seriously just took regular scissors and went to town. It was the most liberating thing I've done. but, I really don't look good with short hair so I won't do that again. It looks really good on you though. You should definitely start sketching. I wish I had the talent.

  5. Wow, I love you in super short hair. I've never been courageous enough to shave mine off, even though I have a pixie cut. But you have a great head for it! lol.

Also wish I could sketch, you should definitely pick it up again. You are very talented.

  16. I am in awe that you shaved your head. I've always thought that it would be incredibly liberating and empowering. I'm new here so maybe you've addressed this, but how is the growing out process? Or are you keeping is super short?

    1. I would recommend it to anyone-it was simply wonderful :) As far as the growing out process-I've only cut it twice since I did it. The first time I cut it was when it was long enough to shape into the Emma Watson pixie cut. And then once it got long enough that I could get a little ponytail in the back, I cut the ponytail off so that it was sortof stacked in the back. It's been 2.5 years since I did it and my hair is halfway down my back now!
